Green Juice Recipes to Energize Your Mornings

A big hello to my tribe, It’s a weekend here already in Dubai and the weather is getting better and better. I totally love the winter here in this city. I already feel the festive energy around, infact I have so many parties to attend this weekend and I am so looking forward to socializing and connecting. As promised last week I am back with some energizing green juice recipes to energise you before the festive season.

Since I am a big fan of green juices, I just love creating recipes experimenting. I don’t know how many of you are aware of this, but drinking your greens early in the morning doses your body with a natural blast of nutrients that gives you a healthy glowing skin, aids in weight loss and most importantly, improves your energy! You must have noticed that during winters our skin gets really dehydrated. So to keep it hydrated, green juices, rich in antioxidants and vitamins K and C really help! So make it a habit to juice it up everymorning just like me and trust me you will see some wonderful results!

Spicy Energy Boosting Shot!
To make it you will need
3 celery stalks
1 granny smith apple
1 peeled lemon
2 fresh Ginger roots
Cayenne Pepper

Lower your cholesterol levels, reduce your weight and detoxify your body with this wonder veggie! I personally love adding it to my food, coz its soooo yummyyy and sooo nutritious!! It is a rich source of vitamin C and has overall health benefits.

Green Apples
As the old saying goes, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. Apples are packed with a variety of essential nutrients like proteins, vitamins, minerals and fibers which offers relief from digestive disorders and lowers blood cholesterol and BP. Also, it is very effective in stabilising blood sugar levels & improving appetite. So it’s time to include some apples in your juices!

Lemons as you know, offers a high level of vitamin C and antioxidants to boost your immune system.

Ginger is well-known for multiple health benefits, which includeits ability to strengthen the immune system, increase your appetite, prevent various cancers, improve respiratory conditions, reduce acidity, relieve pains, nausea and flu and boost bone health. So in winters, while you are prone to having that flu, you need a bit of ginger and you are sorted!

Cayenne Pepper
Cayenne pepper with its anti fungal and anti irritant properties helps with detoxifying your body, relieves joint and nerve pain, supports weight loss by boosting metabolism and had multiple benefits.

Spirulina Energy Shot
To make it, you will need
2 oranges
1 tsp spirulina powder

Oranges are rich in Vitamin C present which increases the production of white blood cells and further improves your immune system. Oranges are very low in calories and loaded with fibres which avoids those hunger pangs for long.

Spirulina is one of the most nutrient-dense foods loaded with omega 3 gatty acids, minerals, vitamins and so much more! In fact studies have found that one could survive on spirulina and water alone! That definitely makes it the most powerful food on the planet! It has a host of health benefits, like suppressing the growth of unhealthy bacteria, promoting better digestion and relieving symptoms related to chronic fatigue as well as balancing blood

Hydration Shot

for this you will need
3 leaves of kale, DE stemmed
3 stalks of celery
1 green apple
1 medium cucumber
1 piece of ginger
1/2 lemon, peeled

The most nutrient dense green vegetable in existence, kale is the king of greens! A huge source of vitamins with just 36 calories and zero fat…can you imagine?? Zero fat..Like really!!! Isn’t that amazing! So just load up kale in your diet.

Celery contains both B and C, and also helps to balance potassium and sodium levels while reducing inflammation in the body.

Green Apple
Green apples contain a lot of fiber, which helps clean the system and increases metabolism. It is also high in Mineral Content, and low in fats. It prevents skin cancer and is a rich source of antioxidants.

Pop this into your shopping basket next time you go for some veggie shopping because this is a wholesome vegetable full of good health. It flushes out the toxins, keeps you hydrated, nourishes you with vitamins, aids in weight loss and supplies some skin friendly minerals like potassium, silicon and magnesium.

Carrot is a crunchy powerfood that gives you vitamin A, cures cancer and helps in anti-ageing. It also gives you a healthier skin, prevents heart disease and protects your teeth and gums.

So these were some of my favourite wonder recipes that I enjoy during winters and which help me achieve my health goals. So people, its one small change in your daily routine that can make a world of a difference! So don’t feel sulky, don’t feel dry, don’t feel lethargic….feel nutritious, feel healthy, feel young and most importantly feel beautiful!
