Lifestyle WELLNESS

Diwali—the festival of lights is just around the corner, and it is time for some celebration, fun, and get-together. It is time to do those beautiful Indian attires, light diyas and step into the festive spirit. As I have been an expat in Dubai for the past eighteen years, every year I love to celebrate Diwali with my family and close friends outside my home country. I love to have an intimate get-together with them at home, where I invite them for a meal I cook myself – as you all know by now I am very fond of cooking. My friends from different cultures join me on this occasion, dressed in their finest Indian wear and we light up the house with diyas and gorge on some delicious food. I really feel blessed to see so many lit up faces around me—happy, pleasant and lively.

Diwali is the occasion wherein one likes to illuminate the lives of their dear ones and express their love for them by gifting presents that they would treasure forever. Whenever I am invited to a Diwali party, I always look for a gift I can pick for my friends and family that is meaningful and which they could treasure and also use even after the celebrations are over. Being a Wellness entrepreneur, I always look for something that is related to well-being and health. Considering that everyone might be looking for something to gift their loved ones this Diwali, I found some cool gift items that can be blindly purchased from Bloomingdales Dubai —one of my favourite stores in this city with a plethora of high-end luxury brands. For this season, I picked up five of my favourite items from Bloomingdales homes which were not just classy but aesthetic and useful too.

  • Vita Jewel Gem Water Bottle

These crystal powered water bottles contain a hand-blown glass pod packed with hand-picked and energetically charged crystals which purify the water and also look aesthetic. If you wish to sip fresh and vital water, this gift is for you! A perfect blend for those who want their inner beauty to radiate along with their outer appearance.

Last but not the least, I would like to convey a message to all my readers. Diwali symbolizes the replacement of darkness with light—it is a triumph of good over evil—not just in the outside world but in the world within us too.  So lighten up your heart this Diwali and revel in the spirit of festivity. Wish you all the health, wealth and happiness.
